Diana’s first love has always been figurative work, but she is equally capable with landscapes and still lifes. Artscape Magazine described her work as “. . .polished, almost photographic realism. Representational art that is accessible . . . faultless technique.”
Diana received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wooster College and followed up with post-graduate study at the Cleveland Institute of Art, the Cooper School of Art, the Atlanta College of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. She also has studied with Marc Chatov, Albert Handell and Nelson Shanks.
Diana has appeared in numerous juried and invitational shows. She has received local and national recognition, including being awarded 1st place in the AFL-CIO Union Images national competition and the Best Figurative Work at the Annual Baer Art Competition, among other 1st place and Best of Show awards. Her work has been exhibited at national shows most recently at the Butler Institute of American Art in its Midyear Show, the Environmentally Engaged Show at the Lighthouse Art Center in Tequesta, Florida and the National Weather Center’s Biennial Exhibition. Her work also appears in significant private collections.
She has been represented for many years by Lagerquist Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia and Epilogue Gallery in Long Grove, Illinois.
