Experienced Beginners - Advanced
Enjoy three days of painting in the comfort of the studio at Anderson Fine Art Gallery in the middle of St. Simons Island, GA. Gather your photos of favorite island style locations and work with instructor Catherine Hillis to create some beautiful paintings.
Your instructor will present multiple daily demonstrations and provide individual coaching. Students can expect a commonsense approach to watercolor painting along with pertinent information on how to improve skills, begin to master design and composition and discover shortcuts for developing depth and atmosphere in your work.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to confirm your space. Checks are requested, but you may also pay by credit card at the time of registration. The balance of the workshop fee is due30 days in advance of the workshop.
The gallery will send an alert email of balances due.
What to Expect:
The evening before (the beginning date of the workshop), the gallery will host a casual meet and greet, giving you the opportunity to meet your fellow students and the instructor. This is also a good time to unload your supplies at the Annex so you're ready for the morning start.
Everyone is invited to an early dinner at a near-by restaurant. Everyone pays their own check.
Workshop size is generally limited to 10-12 students.
Classes begin at 9AM and adjourn at 4PM.
Lunches can be ordered in advance through the gallery from a nearby restaurant.
A menu selection will be sent to you to make your selections. You can order for one or all days. Generally, the check for lunches is made out directly to the restaurant.

Lodging:
St Simons is a busy resort island. Be sure you make your hotel reservations early. The Island is only 14 miles long, so nothing is too far away. We can
