In this online workshop we will explore 4 main topics: Color Theory. Understanding the ideas, principle, application and concepts of how colors interact with each other and how they can be combined to create certain feelings, moods, and reactions. Color Mixing. Learn the correct and easiest ways to mix specific color from a limited palette. Understand when to add or subtract color from your palette and the specific traits of each of your paint tube oil colors. Color Notes. Creating abstract color notes based off of color theory, in order to compare the relative relationship among a variety of colors, a well as create color illusions such as depth and movement. Color Studies. We will combine everything we learned from above with a reference photos of your choosing. We will apply color theory to create small studies. These can serve two purposes. One as final works. Two as reference in the production of larger works.
