Some topics that will be discussed are composition, drawing, light, color theory, form, edges and how to work a narrative into your work. Materials will be discussed as needed (paints, brushes, and board/canvas).

Students are encouraged to bring objects that you will set up that you will paint. The instructor will give demonstrations/lectures for the mornings and the afternoons will be time for students to work on their own paintings. Feedback will be given individually to each student.

All levels and mediums welcome.

He is currently working on two more books due out in the Fall of ’26 and the Fall of ’27. He also periodically writes for the Artist’s Magazine and International Artist’s Magazine.
