From the sun dappled paths that weave throughout St. Simons Island, Ga, you will paint in what feels like another world. 

A reception in a private home will welcome you and the start of a fun and very special workshop. Day one will begin with a studio demonstration followed by painting in magical wooden sites throughout St. Simons Island. Towering Live Oaks draped with Spanish Moss cast dappled light and shadows that dance on the ground. Day two may be spent painting Plein Air on the Island. There will be catered lunches and an evening cruise around the waterways. 

Nancy Tankersley, leader of the modern plein air movement, will be your instructor for this workshop that promises to be fun and exciting. Nancy is one of the founders of the Plein Air Easton started in 2005 and will serve as the Awards Judge for the 20th Anniversary. She was recently recognized as a Living Master by Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine (October 2023). We are honored to have Nancy as your instructor.
