Observe the landscape with fresh eyes at this plein air workshop in and around a historic South Carolina Lowcountry community. We will cover the basics and nuances of oil painting on location – choosing subject matter, composition, color mixing, and good starts. Learn to build your paintings on a strong foundation that takes you smoothly from block-in to final highlights. Venues will offer marsh, rivers, wildlife and the exceptional beauty of live oaks draped in moss. Demos and soft critiques included.
Some painting experience recommended.
