Location: Studio
Tuition: $695

This class will cover the main topic of painting the landscape with emphasis on pushing the ‘Emotional’ component through the understanding and use of color. Recognizing how colors interact with each other and how they can be combined to create certain feelings, moods, and reactions.
We will also combine color theory with introducing methods and techniques from a variety of Art Styles and Movements (Abstract, Impressionism/Cubism/Realism) in order to push the mark-making and final works to a deeper personal level.
Class will consist of lectures, slide analysis, and individual critiques, while the student paints his or her own painting.
Students should bring their own landscape reference photos.
